I just discovered a great application for your iPhone that I thought I must share.   For those of you who do not know me that well, I’m a bit of geek.  I am fascinated with technology, gadgets, and little things like this application that make life easier and more interesting.

GroupMegaByte has created a new wine application for either the iPhone or iPod touch that I would like to introduce to you – “Wine List Pro“.  This application is geared towards all types of wine lovers and whomever wants to expand their knowledge by logging the wines they like as well as their information.
In this version you will be able to obtain:

• A summary of your cellar by touching the Home display
• Delete unwanted wine entries in cellar
• Add new wine entries to cellar
• Add new blends if they are not part of the default list (name, description, mix)
• Take a picture of the wine
• It contains a selection of 141 varietals from all over the world
• It includes the wine Vintage, Volume, Price, Geo Location (Map), Wine Score, your own Rating, Region, your own Notes, Organic and/or Collectible flag field for you to keep track of your wine list
• It also contains food pairings for over 700 combinations (Main groups, subgroups, and wines)
• Varietals and their descriptions
• Share wine information via e-mail
• RSS Feed

There are many other features that will be included in upcoming versions.
