The store they work in is located in an affluent area and price is generally not the primary driver when selections are made.   When consumers where asked about their relative willingness or not to buy sustainable, organic or biodynamic wines, they indicated that they perceived no added benefit to buy these wines or pay more for them, regardless of the proclamation that they could assist in preserving and protecting the planet.

So I now pose these same questions to you:

Why aren’t consumers buying more sustainable, organic or biodynamic wines?
What can be done to improve consumer adoption of this industry segment?
